WABL Development Camp - (Domestic Div 1/2 & WABL Div 5/6)

During the upcoming School Holidays we are running workouts for:

U12 Boys & Girls playing playing Division 1/2 Domestic Basketball or Division 5/6 WABL (born 2014 - 2016)

U14 Boys playing Division 1/2 Domestic Basketball or Division 5/6 WABL (born 2013 - 2012)

Note: WABL U14 Girls in Div 3-6 should attend the U14 WABL Girls Camp

This is not daycare, this program is run by WABL coaches, not teenagers.

The workout will be a mix of competitive drills, scrimmages and fundamental skill development to help players prepare for the upcoming WABL 2025 Tryouts.

TIME AND DATES:

U12 Boys & Girls (born 2014, 2015 & 2016): Friday 10th January 9:00am - 12:00pm

U14 Boys (born 2013 - 2012): Friday 10th January 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Cost for Holiday Camps:

$100.00 per player for returning athlete
$159.95 per player for new athlete (includes singlet)

Venue: Duncraig Recreation Centre

To be eligible for this program you must:

Be playing in a domestic club team in Division 1 or 2, or
Be playing WABL Division 5 or 6
Born 2012 - 2016
Not be a beginner (this program is not suitable for beginners)

This program is designed to improve a domestic players skill level to potentially gain selection to a WABL team in 2025, as well to develop lower division WABL players to be ready for the upcoming WABL season This program is not suitable for Domestic players with no plans to try-out for WABL 2025.

U12 please bring a size 5 basketball
U14 please bring a size 6 basketball

Players will be given a break half-way through, please bring a snack.

Players will be challenged and skills will be taught at game pace. Athletes will be put through their paces to ensure their skills improve and they continue their journey to hopefully try-out for a WABL Team next season.

Players are required to wear an Armstrong Basketball reversible training singlet, this is included in the cost for all new athletes. Please wear basketball shoes and athletic clothing (no shorts with pockets, no jeans, no track pants, no denim shorts). Current WABL players are welcome to wear their reversible WABL training singlet, just register as a "Returning Athlete", or if you want an Armstrong reversible singlet register as a "New Athlete" and it's included in that cost.

Non-basketball shoes will not be allowed on the basketball court.
